F.A.Q:
Can I use your art as my profile pic/header/background?> Yes! Personal use such as profile picture/header, as well as home prints/stickers/shirts/crafts/etc. for yourself with no intention of selling them is perfectly fine.
Can I share it on social media?> If it's on Tumblr or Cara, please share directly from me. Reposting hurts artists.
Anywhere else: ALWAYS give credit and link to the original artwork (I'm only on Tumblr, Cara and Ko-fi.) DO NOT remove my watermark/signature!
Do you sell prints/stickers/shirts/some type of physical merch?> No, only high resolution digital files that you can print at home. I've stopped using print on demand websites because of ethical reasons and subpar quality, as well as unreasonable shipping prices. I do not have the time nor resources to produce merch on my own, however, so it's very unlikely that I ever will.
Can I sell your designs?> No, absolutely not. I retain full ownership of my work.
If you see my artworks used commercially besides my own Ko-fi account, please tell me so that I can take it down. And don't give your money to thieves, this should go without saying.
Can I get your art tattooed?> Yes! I adore tattoos, nothing could make me happier. A few things to take into consideration:
• Don’t claim the design as your own, and don’t use commissioned work meant for other people (if unsure, ask.)
• Listen to your tattoo artist! None of my works are designed with tattooing in mind; if they need to change things, it’s in your best interest.
• If you do get the tattoo, please share the result! It will make my day. Guest artworks and tattoos from tumblr users can be found in my reblogs under the tag lovely bats :) (can't find them if you don't show me first, so don't be shy!)
What software/brushes do you use?> Procreate for sketches and illustrations, Photoshop CS6 for edits, final touches and colour correction (always double check how your art appears on various devices when possible!). I have a post here about brushes, and one there about my lineart method.
Will you draw more pride bats/moths?> No. This was a lot of fun to work on, and I am truly grateful for all the positivity that came out of it, but I'm done with that project for good. Sorry!
